GALENA (Auten, 1948) - Double - Deep Rose - Late. Tall. Not fragrant. An entirely new shade, mulberry, or maybe very deep rose. Bomb type, on stiff stems, with low foliage; a perfect plant for commercial cut-flowers, much admired by many people. It has exceptional substance. Recommended for the northern half of the peony belt only. Auten catalog, 1955. |
