(2002 – pers. comm.) „Ich will auf ... versuchen, die Lactifloras von Goos + Koenemann alle zu finden und komplett die nächsten 40 Jahre zu pflegen. .. Die G+K Suffruticosa-Sorten sind nicht wichtig, da nach meiner Meinung einfach japanische Sorten umbenannt oder direkt ausgesät wurden mit nicht so aufsehenerregendem Erfolg.
