Silvia Saunders (1962): Triple Hybrids: Albiflora (Officinalis X Macrophylla) There were a good many hybrid plants of officinalis crossed by macrophylla, but none was ever considered worthy of public introduction. Their value was proved in the nursery however, for when they in turn were crossed onto albiflora, several fine and distinct triple hybrids were produced.
