Paeonia 'Xueshantaojin '

type: [tree peony] – [suffruticosa group] – [rockii-hybrid] - [Gansu mudan]

To be called ”Xue Shan Tao Jin” in Chinese, with characteristics of milk white bloom, resembling the imperial crown, 24cm×12cm corolla , peachy buds , two annuluses of outer petals with green speckles on the top at the initial anthesis resembling a key, the inner annulus of petals is smaller and with a dentiform cleft in it ,the light amaranth base speckles are also smaller with it to be divided into two parts by a white line .The inner petals are smaller with twisted gofers and red base speckles. The top of the speckle has biggish golden anther, great many stamens are mixed up within inner petals with biggish and golden anther and longer, white filaments coming out the inner petals. The stamens make the corolla seem golden and bright. The five full-grown pistils have pompadour stigma, remained white floral disc. The 15 lobules and medium round leaves have no tomentas and its leafstalk to be concave and maroon, and later blooming date. The fresh branches grown in the year it was planted are green and stiff with red demitint with them. The plant grows vigorously with the bloom leaves half patulous upside and with many sprouts. It has early blooming date and to be new variety from Lanzhou Zhongchuan Peony and Chinese Peony Garden.
