Hong Mei Fei Xue. Crown form. Flowers 18cm x 9cm, pinkish red (49-A); the outer petals 3- whorled, large, soft, thin, suffused with light red at the base; the inner petals narrowly long, irregular, sparse, rugose, apex pinkish white, a few stamens are among the petals; pistils small or slightly petaloid, floral discs purplish red. Stalks slender, stiff, flowers upright or lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, spreading. Branches slender, stiff, slightly curved. Leaves long, small-sized, stiff, crowded; leaflets elliptic or ovate, apex abruptly acute, the margins curved upwards. Growth medium; flowers many, tolerant of adverse conditions, particularly low temperature during bud stage. Bred by Heze Flower Garden in 1969. |
