Hong Lou Chun Hui. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 17 cm x 10cm, magenta (52-A), lustrous. The outer petals 7-8-whorled, broad and large, entire and regular, gradually smaller from the outer to the inner petals, purple at the base; stamens normal or occasionally petaloid, pistils developed, mixed red and green coloured petals in the lower flower. Petals 3-whorled, broad and large, erect, wrinkled, pink at the apex, stamens normal, pistils small. Stalks fairly pliable, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, partially spreading. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized; leaflets broadly ovate, obtuse at the apex, pendulous. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Wangcheng Park, Luoyang in 1969. |
