Fei Yan Hong Zhuang. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 16 cm x 6cm, red (52-C), pink at top. Petals multi-whorled, slightly soft, dark purple basal blotches; stamens small; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured in the lower flower. Petals relatively few, slightly large; stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks slender and long, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches slender, pliable. Leaves long, small-sized, sparse; leaflets elliptic, terminal leaflets irregularly toothed. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1964. |
