Jiu Tian Lan Yue. Crown form, sometimes anemone form occurs. Flowers 23cm x 8cm, pink faintly bluish (62-D); the outer petals 2-3-whorled, broad and large, with numerous teeth, purplish red basal blotches; the inner petals narrowly long, wrinkled, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, some stamens grow among the petals; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured. Stalks long, stiff, pale purple, flowers upright. Flowering early midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, stiff, sparse; leaflets ovate or long ovate, apex obtuse, pendulous. Growth vigorous, flowers many; tolerant of low temperature during bud stage. Bred by Heze Flower Garden in 1972. |
