Shen Zi Yu. Lotus form. Flowers 16cm x 4cm, deep purplish red (61-B); petals 4- whorled, the outer ones stiff and flat, the inner ones wrinkled, suffused with -dark purple at the base; stamens normal, sometimes petaloid, pistils normal, stigmas pink; floral discs bluish pink. Stalks slightly short, flowers upright. Flowering early. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium-sized; the petiole axils suffused with purple; leaflets broadly ovate, terminal leaflets deeply cut, the margins slightly curved upwards. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Heze Flower Garden in 1973. |
