Da Hu Die. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 16cm x 4cm, deep pink bluish (62-B); the outer petals 5-6-whorled, thick, stiff, with a conspicuous purple streak along petals, purplish red basal blotches; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils 5-7, stigmas yellowish white, very fertile; floral discs yellowish white. Stalks long, straight, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches slender, stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, thick, stiff, sparse; leaflets ovate, obtuse at the apex, the margins curved upwards, suffused with purplish red. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1969. |
