Da Hong Yi Pin. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 16cm x 4cm, deep red (61-A); petals 6-8- whorled, fairly stiff, entire and regular, purplish red basal blotches; stamens normal; pistils normal; floral discs purplish red. Stalks stout, stiff, short, flowers lateral. Flowering early. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, stiff, crowded; leaflets broadly-ovate or ovate, terminal leaflets deeply or completely cut, acuminate at the apex, the margins curved upwards, suffused with pale purple. Growth vigorous, flowers many, very adaptable. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1990. |
