Jin Gong Pao. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 18cm x 6cm, purplish red (61-C); petals 8- whorled, wrinkled and toothed at the apex, curved near the centre; stamens normal; pistils small; floral discs purplish red. Stalks stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves long, medium-sized; petiolules long, oblique; leaflets ovate lanceolate; terminal leaflets completely cut, lobes lanceolate; lateral leaflets with numerous and deep lobes; acute at the apex. Growth vigorous, flowers many, tolerant of the spring frost. Bred in Heze in 1981. |
