Bing Ling Zi. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 6cm, pink (38-C); the outer petals 2-3- whorled, large, thin, soft, apex usually toothed, purplish red basal blotches, the inner petals very small, wrinkled, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, some stamens grow among the petals; pistils developed, petaloid, yellowish green. Stalks short, flowers hidden among leaves. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches curved. Leaves long, medium- sized, sparse; leaflets elliptic, the margins curved upwards, acute at the apex. Growth vigorous, flowers relatively few. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1964. |
