Bao Lan Guan. Crown form. Flowers 13cm x 11 cm, pinkish purple faintly bluish (72-D); the outer petals 2-whorled, large, slightly curved downwards, the inner petals fairly large, erect, suffused with purplish red at the base, with deep purple streaks in petals, a few stamens grown among the petals; pistils normal, stigmas purplish red; floral discs purplish red. Stalks fairly straight, flowers slightly lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves orbicular, medium- sized, bi-ternate pinnates; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Guose Peony Garden, Luoyang in 1992. |
