Xi Shi Huan Sha. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 19 cm x 9cm, pinkish red bluish (73-C); petals 8-whorled, large, flat, purplish red basal blotches; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured in the lower flower. Petals relatively few, large, rugose; stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches stout; branch-lets and intemodes long. Leaves long, small-sized, crowded; leaflets broadly lanceolate or ovate, acute at the apex. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1988. |
