Guards long and broadly cupped, opening very vivid red, becoming crimson with a purple tinge; stami-nodes violet-crimson, edged buff at tips, shading to creamy pink at base; carpels feathered, pale greenish at base; kernels white; moderate rather pleasing fragrance. Average height; floriferous; stiff stems. Foliage sparse, recurved and narrow, with dark ruddy veins. |
