Wu Xia Mei Yu. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 6cm, white (155-D); the outer petals 2- whorled, thin, soft, suffused with pale purple at the base; the inner petals soft, sparse; some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, a few stamens grow among petals; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured. Stalks fairly pliable, flowers laterally pendulous. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, spreading. Branches fairly slender, curved. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized; leaflets ovate, thick, obtuse at the apex, the margins curved upwards. Growth slow. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1983. |
