Paeonia 'Bai He Wo Xue'

Bai He Wo Xue. Crown form, sometimes anemone form occurs. Flowers 17cm x 6cm, at first pink, later white faintly bluish (155-D); the outer petals 2-whorled, broad and large, irregularly toothed at the apex; the inner petals very small, crowded, wrinkled, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, a few stamens grow among the petals; pistils small. Stalks fairly long, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, sparse; leaflets ovate, apex obtuse or acute, pendulous, the margins slightly curved upwards, suffused with purple. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1969.
