Flowers 14cm x 4cm, dark purplish red (187-B), bright; petals soft, irregularly toothed at the apex, black basal blotches; stamens normal; pistils normal; floral discs dark purple. Stalks slender, pliable, long, flowers laterally pendulous. Flowering midseason. Plant medium to dwarf, erect. Branches slender, stiff. Leaves long, medium-sized, soft, sparse; leaflets long ovate or long elliptic, acuminate at the apex, pendulous, suffused with purplish red on the margins. Growth weak, flowers many. Classic variety.
