Top Hat (Helen Reynolds 1971) ML. Japanese form to novelty double; extra rows of cardinal red petals surround a circle of light yellow staminodes, the whole usually centered by additional red petals. Abundant medium size flowers on low medium height stems. Its flowers may be somewhat sparse and asymmetrical on immature plants and not to everyone.s liking. However, this color presentation attracts the eye from afar. |
