Zi Yun. Hundred proliferate form, sometimes chrysanthemum form occurs. Flowers 18cm x 7cm, purplish red (61-C); petals 6-8-whorled, stiff, regular, dark purple basal blotches, stamens normal, slightly petaloid; occasionally pistils developed, petaloid, pinkish white coloured in the lower flower. Petals sparse; stamens a few; pistils small or developed, petaloid, pinkish yellow coloured in the upper flower. Stalks stout, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches fairly stout. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, thick, stiff; leaflets ovate, acute at the apex. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1983. |
