Wu Zhou Hong. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 17 cm x 9cm, purplish red (63-A). Petals 2-3-whorled, large, flat, the inner petals small, wrinkled, suffused with purple at the base; stamens slightly petaloid, pistils small or petaloid in the lower flower. Petals large, a few, rugose; stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches stiff. Leaves long, medium-sized, stiff, sparse; leaflets ovate, acute at the apex. Growth vigorous; flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1966. |
