ZAJIAO ZHONG, «Il loto rosso». Varietà di P. rockii proveniente dal Gansu. Fiore stradoppio, rosso porpora, coi bordi sfrangiati, l'unghia scura che caratterizza tutte queste peonie e pochi stami al centro. Fioritura tardiva.
