Dou Zhu. Crown fonn. Flowers 15cm x 9cm, pink faintly bluish (65-C); the outer petals 2-3-whorled, broad and large, with a thick purple streak along petal centre, dark purple basal blotches; the inner petals-crowded, usually toothed at the apex; nearly all stamens petaloid, pistils small. Stalks slightly pliable. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, spreading. Branches slender, curved. Leaves long, medium-sized; leaflets ovate or long ovate, acute at the apex, pendulous, the margins curved upwards. Growth weak, flowers relatively few, sprouts twice each year, in summer and autumn. Classic variety. |
