Paeonia 'China Rose'
type: [herbaceous peony] [species cultivar] - [peregrina/officinalis cultivar]
Due to the uncertainity of the historical definitions of Paeonia officinalis, i.e. the fact, that many of the historical officinalis- cultivars are now clearly defined as forms of Paeonia peregrina (like 'Otto Froebel', 'Sunbeam' etc.), I have placed this cultivar into this group. 'China Rose' is more likely to be a Peregrina. |
