Bao Gong Mian. Chrysanthemum form, sometimes rose form occurs. Flowers 17cm x 6cm, dark purple (187-C); petals 8- whorled, gradually shorter from the outer to the inner whorls, soft, dark purple basal streaks; stamens partially petaloid; pistils small, floral discs dark purple. Stalks slender, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering-late. Plant dwarf, partially spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, crowded; leaflets long ovate, apex acute, the margins wavy upwards. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1995. |
