Banquet Saunders 1941 EM 4' Semi-Dbl
This first generation Lutea hybrid has large romantic semi-double flowers in a rich blend of strawberryrose-red with yellow amber and gold undertones. The finely cut foliage is bold, distinctive and will stand out in any garden.

BANQUET The flower is like a beautifully shaped rose bud, and opens out to display its centre of golden stamens, and dark red flares. The petals arc of a light raspberry red, blushed on the underside with a dusting of gold. The bush is rounded, and very compact. Semi double.





Banquet. Saunders. 1941. F1 generation lutea hybrid. Semi-double ruffled flowers of deep strawberry. Flares dark, hidden. Filaments reddish, very few. Stigmas rose; 7 or more. Sheath purple. Stems and leaves medium green flushed in red. Blooms a bit later than most of the lutea hybrids. A very beautiful plant and flower. No fertility.
