'Bowl of Cream' (Klehm, U.S.A., 1963) Japanse. Bloemen roomwit, zeer groot (20 25 cm), gevuld, middelvroeg , meeldraden niet of nauwelijks zichtbaar , bladeren groot, levendig groen; hoogte 80 cm; bloemstengels stevig; vertakking goed. Deze pioen valt op door de grote bloemen en de stevige habitus. Een bekroning met één waardester is zeker op zijn plaats. Het blad is gezond; de plant lijkt niet gevoelig te zijn voor Botrytis.

Deze
prachtige variëteit heeft wel een heel toepasselijke naam
meegekregen. Het is net een schaal slagroom! Zeer grote bloemen
van een prachtig witte kleur, geheel gevuld en schaalvormig.
Weinig zijknoppen. Erg stevige stelen die de bloemen gemakkelijk
ondersteunen. Met haar donkergroene blad heeft ze een enorm stoere
uitstraling. Persoonlijk onze favoriete witte pioen. Bekroond met
de APS Gold Medal in 1981.

Enormously sized flowers of a creamy white color, as full as a double can be and bowl-shaped. Little sidebuds. Very strong and erect stems that easily support the huge flowers. Outstanding dark green foliage provides a lasting impression. Our personal favorite white peony! Awarded with the APS Gold Medal in 1981.
