type: [herbaceous peony] [species cultivar] [lactiflora]
JOHANNA (Karth, 1941) - Name changed to MARY JO. Bulletins 83 and 93. JOHANNA (Mrs. William Karth, 1941) - Double, late mid-season. Soft rose ivory, lace-like flat bloom with golden stamens showing. There is another variety spelled JOEHANNA (Mrs. William Wolfe, 1931) with which this should not be confused. This name should not have been registered as it is too similar to Mrs. Wolfe's variety. |
