Man Jiang Hong. Chrysanthemum form. Flower buds oblate; flowers 16cm x 5cm, red (57-C); petals 5-6-whorled, stiff, regular, with a few teeth at the apex, suffused with purplish red at the base, the inner petals slightly rugose; stamens normal; pistils normal; floral discs purplish red. Stalks stiff; flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, partially spreading. Branches stiff. Leaves long, medium- sized, stiff, crowded; leaflets long ovate, the margins slightly curved upwards, apex acuminate. Growth medium, flowers normal. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1962. |
