Xiao Hu Die. Chrysanthemum form, occasionally in rose form. Flowers 16cm x 6cm, pink (62-C), the outer petals 4-5- whorled, stiff, regular, flat, layered conspicuously, with purple radial streaks, deep purplish red basal streaks; stamens smaller or petaloid; pistils normal, very fertile. Stalks long, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, erect. Branches slender and stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, stiff; leaflets elliptic, obtuse at the apex, the margins curved upwards, suffused with deep purple. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1969. |
