Ding Xiang Zi. Crown form. Flowers 15cm x 9cm, pinkish purple (74-D) ; the outer petals 2-whorled, large, suffused with deep purple at the base; the inner petals crowded; pistils small or absent. Stalks long, stiff, flowers lateral. Flowering late. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium- sized, thick; leaflets long elliptic, acuminate at the apex, pendulous, the margins curved upwards. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many; tolerant of leaf spot. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1968. |
