Mu Chun Hong. Rose form, sometimes chrysanthemum form occurs. Flowers 20cm x 6cm, pale purplish red (63-B); petals multi-whorled, outer ones 2-3-whorled, stiff, flat, the inner ones gradually smaller, slightly twisted upwards, suffused with deep purple at the base; stamens slightly petaloid, pistils 5-7, occasionally petaloid, floral discs purplish red. Stalks stiff, fairly long, flowers upright or lateral. Flowering late. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches fairly stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, slightly crowded, soft; leaflets ovate, acute at the apex, upper surface smooth, yellowish green. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Heze Flower Garden in 1988. |
