Hong Fu . Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 15cm x 6 cm, purplish red (53-B), bright, lustrous; petals 8-whorled, regular, stiff, suffused with dark purple at the base; stamens normal or occasionally petaloid; pistils 7-11; floral discs purplish red. Stalks fairly short, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches relatively slender. Leaves long, medium-sized, soft; leaflets long ovate, apex acuminate, pendulous; upper surface green, with conspicuous veins. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1968. |
