COURT JESTER (Anderson) Roger F. Anderson, Fort Atkinson, WI, Jan.19,1999. Single gold, herbaceous x tree. Pollen parent. D-256 Tria seedling. Seed parent. Martha W. seedling. First bloomed 1988. Divided 1991 - height 24-26". Small bloom, color yellow-gold with dark red flares surrounding a group of yellow stamens with red tipped stigmas. Primary blooms are showy, but the main show comes when the secondary buds open as there are many. No seed or pollen noted. |

A pretty and different intersectional ! Court Jester wears small flowers of simple form. At the opening, flowers are of a yellow-orange color with red-burgundy flares contrasting with the golden stamens and red stigmates. A very nice looking flower! Flowers fade gently as they age toward a yellowish-creamy color. Each stem wear many flowers extending the blooming period.. Height of 80 cm. Mid-season bloomer. Fragrant flower. Un hybride intersectionnel un peu différent. Les fleurs sont plus petites, elles sont simples et dune couleur orangée à louverture. La base des pétales porte des macules dun rouge bourgogne foncé entourant un petit coeur détamines dorées et des stigmates rouges. Bel effet de couleur du centre de la fleur. Spectaculaire sur les fleurs des boutons primaires. La fleur se fade doucement à mesure quelle sépanouit jusqu`à devenir jaune-crème. Plusieurs fleurs sur chaque tige. Plant de 80 cm. Fleurs parfumées. Floraison débute en mi-saison et se prolonge jusqu'à la fin de la saison. |
