type: [tree peony] – [suffruticosa group] – [rockii-hybrid] - [Gansu mudan]

To be called ”YuLongBei” in Chinese, with characteristics of kelly bloom, resembling the chrysanthemum, 17cm×8 cm corolla and peachy buds. Two annulus of light milk yellow and neat outer petals enjoying with dentiform clefts and magenta, narrow and long base speckles(3 cm×1 cm ). The inner petals are twisted, crapy and having deeper color than outer petals do, the base speckles are magenta and striped. The great many stamens have yellow anthers and white filaments with tops bent. The five pea green pistils have milk yellow stigmas, milk white and half wrapped floral disc. Plant grows vigorously with the great many blooms, half patulous shape, aromatic flavor and many sprouts. The medium size and round leaves, together with the 15 lobules, have characteristics of neat leaves, few tomentas, concave and red leafstalks. It has medium blooming date and to be new variety from Lanzhou Zhong chuan Peony and Chinese Peony Garden.
