27.09.2004 Ich habe in diesem Jahr wieder Pflanzen aus China bestellt, eine erste Lieferung von einer mir bis dahin unbekannten Gärtnerei aus Lanzhou traf heute ein. Wunderbare große Pflanzen, kräftig gewachsene Veredelungen. Da ich natürlich mehr bestellt habe, als ich für mich selbst brauchen kann, kann ich davon auch einiges abgeben. Es sind alles bisher schwer zu beschaffende „Schwarze“ Sorten bzw. eine gefüllte Weiße. Hallo an alle,es gibt nächsten Montag einen Päonien-Vortrag bei uns im Institut: Prof. De-Yuan HONG, academician, Institute of Botany (Beijing), the Chinese Academy of Science, will talk on "Taxonomy and Evolution of Paeonia".

This will be a comprehensive presentation with multidisciplinary studies, from morphology, ecology, cytology to population biology, and molecular phylogeny of the whole genus. The talk will be at 13 Sept.(Monday), 17:15, in one of the practical rooms, Institute of Botany, University of Vienna. Those who are interested are welcome.
