Paeonia 'Harvest Peach'

type: [tree peony] – [lutea hybrid]

2017

originator/registrant:

(Seidl 2017)

Harvest Peach. Seidl. Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Somewhat variable in color from year to year. Single to Semi-double flowers are peach with magenta flares. Notched petals are slightly ruffled. An unusual color that sometimes approaches a light orange. Magenta sheath, red stamens and light pink stigmas. Excellent dark green foliage with well dissected foliage that has very pointed ends. Stems are not particularly hardy to temperatures below -15F, but re-grow vigorously from basal buds to bloom the same spring. Pollen and seed fertility. Seed is difficult (mostly soft seed). Bill Seidl believed that this plant might lead to more orange colored lutea hybrids in future generations. (Sedona x Autumn Harvest)
