Paeonia 'Xungfeng'

type: [tree peony] – [suffruticosa group] – [rockii-hybrid] - [Gansu mudan]

To be called ”XunFeng” in Chinese, with characteristics of rose color bloom, resembling the rosebush, 16cm×7cm corolla . Two annuluses of net outer petals, stiff in quality, and formal edge, have purple base speckles. Slightly twisted and crapy inner petals have a white filament go through the top, and to be easily sunburnt. The several stamens are mixed up within petals with small and yellow anther, white and slightly twisted filaments. The five full-grown and green pistils with red demitint, have deep rose color stigmas, red and half wrapped floral disc. The mini type round leaves have the characteristics of thick, dense, bottle green, fewer tomentas and growing aslant. The plant is tall, big and half patulous. The growing situation of it is vigorous and bloom leaves of it to be patulous upwards with high blooming rate and later blooming date. It is the new variety from Lanzhou Zhongchuan Peony and Chinese Peony Garden.
