HARBINGER (Saunders, 1929) - Single - Pink - Very Early - Hybrid. Moderately tall. Plant robust and upright. Foliage intermediate between the two parents, but not so coarse as in macrophylla. Flowers medium size. Somewhat like Lemoine's Wittmanniana hybrid, AVANT GARDE. Otto Froebel x macrophylla. Bulletin 37. Miss Saunders' letter says this has been withdrawn. |
