Zi Tuo Gui. Anemone or crown form. Flower buds orbicular; flowers 16cm x 7cm, purple (68-B); the outer petals 2-whorled, broadly ovate, suffused with deeper colour at the base; stamens petaloid, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured. Stalks fairly short, flowers growing at the same level with the leaves. Flowering midseason. Plant fairly tall, spreading. Leaves long, small-sized; leaflets long ovate or long elliptic, acuminate at the apex, the margins slightly curved upwards. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Wangcheng Park, Luoyang in 1969. |
