Zi Rong Qiu. Crown proliferate form. Flowers 18cm x 11 cm, dark purplish red (64- C). Petals 3-whorled, large, stiff, flat, the inner petals fairly small, wrinkled; some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured in the lower flower. Petals relatively few, rugose, nearly all stamens petaloid; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured in the upper flower. Stalks stout, long, flowers lateral. Flowering late midseason. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, stiff, thick, fairly crowded; leaflets broadly ovate, apex acute, the margins slightly curved upwards. Growth vigorous, flowers many, tolerant of adverse conditions. Bred by Gujin Garden, Heze in 1982. |
