Zheng Chun . Crown form, sometimes anemone form occurs. Flowers 15cm x 6cm, pinkish red (38-D); the outer petals 3- whorled, stiff, slightly suffused with deep pink at the base; the inner petals wrinkled, relatively few, a few stamens grow among the petals; pistils small or petaloid. Stalks slightly pliable, flowers lateral. Flowering early. Plant dwarf, spreading. Branches slender, relatively pliable. Leaves long, small-sized, crowded; leaflets long ovate, apex acute, slightly pendulous, upper surface green, fading to yellowish brown at the apex. Growth weak, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1983. |
