Yan Zhu Jian Cai. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 17 cm x 10cm, pale purplish red (57-D). Petals multi-whorled, arranged irregularly, wrinkled, shallowly toothed at the apex, suffused with red at the base; stamens a few; pistils slightly petaloid in the lower flower. Petals relatively few, wrinkled, erect, lighter colour at the apex; stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks stiff, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches fairly stiff. Leaves long, medium-sized; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1963. |
