ARGENTINE. ar-zha»-teen'. (Lemoine, 1924.) 8.6 (3 votes).*

Double type; late midseason. A large, globular flower, with symmetrically arranged petals of good substance; color purest white, with a creamy tint toward the center; fragrant.

This new variety shows much promise. The above information was taken from the introducer's description.

'Argentine' (Lemoine, Frankrijk, 1924) Bloemen roomwit tot wit, gevuld, laat; tepalen en petaloiden aan de basis geel tot crèmekleurig; bladeren matglanzend groen; hoogte 70 cm; bloemstengels stevig; vertakking goed. Ond.ank de lichte gevoeligheid voor Botrytis werd deze cultivar toch met één ster gewaardeerd. Op zwaardere gronden voldoet de plant beter.
