TERPSICHORE (Muse of Choral, dance and song) (D-182) Nassos Daphnis, Oct. 17, 1977. First bloomed 1968. Parentage. Generation - BC-1; Amber Moon x F2 (A). Coral, orange and red veins running through each petal. Single, two rows of petals, well formed and round. The petals move in and out as though in a dance ritual. Good substance, stem strength good. Fragrant, has pollen and seeds. Reliable. Bulletin #224.

Walter Good:

Terpsichore' blüht einfach mit zwei Reihen Petalen. Die korallenrosa gefärbten Blüten sind von roten und orangen Adern durchzogen und oftmals aprikosenfarben überhaucht. Die lebhaft gewellten inneren und äusseren Petalen verleihen der Blüte etwas Tänzerisches. Terpsichore war die Muse des Tanzes, des Chores und des Gesanges.



Terpsichore. (Muse of Choral, Dance and Song). Daphnis. 1977. Advanced generation lutea hybrid. (Amber Moon x F2A). Single, two rows of coral over cream colored petals with orangy veins and red flares. Pink stamens, purple sheath and maroon stamens. Fast growing plant that has very woody stems. Hardy stems are seldom winter killed and carry flowers upward and outward. Average amount of bloom on 4.5 to 5 foot spreading plants. Plants become large require space as they get older. Seed fertility with effort.
