Zi Xia Xiang Yu. Lotus form. Flowers 16cm x 4cm, purple (63-C), pinkish purple at the apex; petals thin, soft, with conspicuous streaks, numerous teeth on the margins; stamens occasionally petaloid; pistils normal, very fertile. Stalks fairly long, straight, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant dwarf, erect. Branches relatively slender. Leaves long, large- sized; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex, pendulous, curved upwards on the margins. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1963. |
