Zi Yan. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 18cm x 5cm, pinkish purple with bluish (68-A); petals 6-8- whorled, the margins toothed, suffused with purplish red at the base, floral discs red, stamens normal; pistils normal, fertile. Stalks long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, erect. Branches relatively stout. Leaves long, large-sized; leaflets long ovate or broadly ovate lanceolate, acuminate at the apex, curved downwards, the margins slightly curved upwards, dark green above, suffused with red. Growth fairly weak, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1967. |
