Gong E Jiao Zhuang. Lotus form. Flowers 15cm x 3cm, red (52-C) with pink; petals 4-5- whorled, stiff, arranged regularly, of similar size, layered conspicuously, dark purple basal blotches; stamens normal; pistils normal; floral discs purplish red. Stalks slender, stiff, fairly long, flowers upright. Flowering early midseason. Plant medium height, erect. Branches slender, stiff. Leaves long, medium-sized, stiff, sparse; leaflets ovate, apex acuminate. Growth vigorous; flowers many; tolerant of adverse conditions. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1990. |
