Mo Zi Rong Jin. Lotus form. Flowers 13cm x 6cm, dark purple (187-B), lustrous; petals soft, sparse, suffused with dark purple at the base, a few stamens petaloid; pistils small; floral discs dark purplish red; stalks slender, short; flowers hidden among the leaves. Flowering early. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches stout, stiff. Leaves long, medium-sized, fairly sparse; leaflets elliptic, obtuse or acute at the apex, the margins slightly curved upwards. Growth vigorous, flowers few. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1963. |
